Ebook Power

An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business, while educating people with the knowledge you already posses as a business owner of a specific product or service. An ebook is the easiest way to reach any large niche audience of any type. Ebooks will not only promote your business, but will establish you as an expert in your field.

The largest reason people read books is to answer some type of question, or questions about a specific topic, or niche. You as the author are now in a position to establish yourself as an expert about your topic or niche. Your readers diligently read to answer their questions, success means delivering solid content about your topic or niche to your readers. Don’t guess about how much information to write into your book just over deliver the content to your readers. You will develop a reputation for writing books with solid content that is a value at any price. But, where to start as a writer? As a novice writer with an overflowing base of knowledge, short books are a great way to get your feet wet!

Write a short book first.
If you have a topic or information you want to sell, than just write a small ebook to start out with. Write 10 to 20 pages of your book and than ad some graphics. If your book is packed with good content, people will not mind paying 20 bucks for a 20 page book; quality. Once you have your feet wet with a short book, than plan your next book. You can than plan and organize your next book, after all, you have gained a wealth of experience from writing your small book.

Create Volumes Of Information
One effective tactic is to write a series of books, and label them as volumes, and promote as Volume One, Volume Two, etc. . Create a buzz about your next volume in the current volume you are writing. Offer incentives to the readers for example; a discount, or special bonuses for purchasing the next volume of your book.

Organizing Your Ebook
Organizing your ebook is not as difficult as you may think. If you can write a grocery list, than organizing an ebook will be simple.

  1. Start out with writing on paper or computer 1- 10. Write the topic you want to cover next to each digit on your paper. You now have outlined your chapters
  2. Write capital A, B, C, under each topic (Chapter). These will be your chapter sub headings.
  3. Below the capital letters (subheading) write lower case letters a b c. By writing a, b, c, you

now can write one or two keywords or phrases to be anchors to remember what information you will put in you subheadings. You are now ready to write your book.

When you use this format on paper or computer, and you read the text laid out in an organized manor, your mind will automatically want to fill in the gaps. The human brain just will not tolerate gaps in anything. Your thoughts will compel you to finish the job. By using this technique you will accomplish an amazing amount of work. After all your hard work how will you tell the world about your ebook?

ADVERTISING METHODS
1. Articles
You can write articles to brand your work in the minds of readers. Write your articles relevant to the topic of your book, but don’t give away the farm. The articles are also making quality content for your website. Remember search engines love quality content.

2. Blogs/RSS
Blogging is another way to create content for your website, and by using RSS, you can easily distribute your content. Most don't understand what RSS really is, or how it can most effectively be used to drive traffic to their sites. Basically, RSS is a form of code that's very search engine friendly. With RSS feeds, which you can add to your website or blog, you can create content that updates itself. Because of this self-updating, the search engines will spider your site more often, raising your rankings. But, the primary reason is you are reaching a larger, and more specific audience. Blogs and RSS readers are choosing the content they wish to read. Always remember your target audience is attempting to answer their questions.

3. Search Engine Optimization
Optimizing your site for the search engines means creating keyword rich content, exchanging links with other sites, submitting your site to directories, which create back links pointing to your site.

4. Distribute a Free Chapter to Your Readers
One of the best ways to advertise is give away a free chapter of your ebook away. Place links in the book where your readers can purchase your ebook. Giving away chapter one is the best because you are telling the reader what they are going to learn; but not in any detail. The readers grow hungry for more information and want to buy.

Make It Viral
If you make your ebook brandable, which means others can place their links, and affiiate id inside your ebook, your ebook becomes viral. You give others an incentive to share your ebook and spread it across the internet. Once you implement these content strategies on your site, add streams of revenue to your site like Adsense and Virtual Portals. These sites will allow you to monetize your site.

Conclusion
Don’t be afraid of writing ebooks it is a great way to build your expertise and credibility with the internet community. You also will bring a lot of customers to your website. Implement these strategies and you will be successful. Remember, your reputation depends on the quality of the product you produce.

Writing An Ebook – Learning Step By Step

They say the best way to making money on the Internet, is to create your own Ebook. Wow! That’s a simple statement, but – do you know what is involved. I’ll try to explain what I have learned and I am learning while I’m creating my own Ebook.

Brainstorming
If you know what you want to create, you’ve already on your way. But, if you’re not sure what information you have stored in your years of living – well, it can be difficult.

I’ve found the best way to brainstorm is to write your ideas, experiences and knowledge down on a piece of paper – then do research to determine what people are looking for on the net.

Research
To determine if your product, idea, or info-knowledge will fly you must do research. Go to Wordtracker or Overture and see how many times people in the month were looking for what you want to write about.

This will give you an idea if it is a viable product. Also do a straight search in Google and Yahoo for your keywords, and see what turns up. Investigate some of the sites, you may be surprised that you have a completely slant on the information you want to present in an E-book – which is a good thing.

Writing
If you think your ebook may fly, then it is time to write. Create it in html or a txt format, using Word or Notepad. Then download Gymnast – it’s free (you can find it on my site http://www.myaffiliateplace.biz/Affiliate_PromoteTools.htm). This will create your ebook. But – before you pull it into a PDF, be sure to proofread your material.

Next, you can create an Ebook cover. Yes, I know, you’re on a tight budget, so . . .look to http://www.onlinewebcreations.com -- they have some free ebook covers that you can choose from, and an on-line tool in which you can add the title of the book onto the Ebook cover.

If you don’t find these free ebook covers to your liking then you can purchase software to create your own ebook cover or pay someone else to do it for you. Once you have your ebook completed, it is time to get it out to the masses.

I would suggest submitting your ebook to Clickbank or Payloadz. However, if this is your first ebook, I would strongly suggest that you give Payloadz a closer look. From my own research – it is reasonable, you upload your ebook to their server (which eliminates your need to make your ebook available to the customer), and the payment goes through your Paypal account.
As to promotion, I will leave that to you to research.

Selling Ebooks for Dummies

Ebooks. It seems like they have been with us for some time now. At the beginning of digital technology it was predicted that digital books - Ebooks would replace conventional printed books. Obviously this is not going to happen at least not too soon. People still love traditional hard cover books. Who would like to sit in the bath with a computer in his hands to read one or two chapters of his favourite Ebook?

But in today’s fast online world, convenience of instant delivery and huge supply and variety on the market together with cheaper price - the Ebook is a fantastic product and has its place on the market. Ebooks are easy to store, file, and copy. You can write and publish your own Ebook for next to nothing and sell it for almost 100% profit over and over again. On the other hand – only shipping takes about 7-14% on average of sales of traditional hard cover books. So if you're looking to work at home part-time or full-time and thinking about your options, Ebooks should definitely be on your list to consider.

- So where should I start?- Where do I get the Ebooks?- How would I find customers?- How do I deliver the Ebook to my customers after they pay ?

Those are only few of many questions you could ask yourself when thinking about getting into this business. Let’s have a closer look at them.

Obviously a good start would be the internet access. Getting a good reliable service provider with minimum downtime is quite easy these days. The internet is much cheaper than it used to be. Do a small research on the market of internet providers in your area.

There is a good variety of Ebooks for sale with resell rights on the market. Buy such Ebook and you can resell it again and again. Convenient, you say if someone else has done the writing for you. Yes, but remember that thousands of other sellers can be selling the same Ebook as we speak. The point is to choose good portfolio of Ebooks to sell. Such Ebooks can be found on http://www.downloaddetails.com/. Actually for a small fee you can get the whole bunch of quality Ebooks.

If you find something, try to do a Google search on the same Ebook and see how many other sellers there are. You don’t want to be the seller number 2.564 867. But you don’t want to sell the only Ebook in the world that nobody wants either.

You can become an affiliate of other established sellers and sell their Ebooks too. They pay you anything between 5-25% commission on every sale you make.

Or you can go the harder way and write the Ebooks yourself. Find niche topics about specific category that you’re interested in like gardening or science, music, hobbies, something you’re good at. Ask your family or friends what they think about your idea.

Once you have your product or products – Ebooks, it’s time to make the decision on how and where to sell them. A great way to sell Ebooks is in auction like eBay. If you are not already a seller you can sign up for a free account as a seller. It takes less than 5 minutes. You don’t have to market the Ebooks on eBay, it’s done for you for a small fee.

Other way is to set up your own web page and sell the Ebooks from there. But if your website is new, you need to get some traffic to it. That means to market the site, to appear in the search engines like Google or Yahoo or MSN so that whenever your potential customers search for the words like Ebooks, your website is listed. Or to have a link or ad on another established website that will draw traffic to your site. Word of mouth is also a great marketing tool. Paid advertisement is a good way to start too. Try combination of those techniques and be patient. Success takes time. But it will come…

Customers who bought your Ebook should have the option to pay you online. Paypal is a great and one of the most secure online payment systems in the world. Quote from their website, about Paypal: “Paypal enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. PayPal's service builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards and utilizes the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe, global, real-time payment solution.”

Whether you’ve sold your Ebook on eBay or from your website, you get a notification on email about the order once it’s been paid for. You can then email your customer a download link to download the Ebook (if it’s on a server) or send it as attachment in the email. Congratulations on your first sale!

Why Selling EBooks Cheap May not be a Bad Idea

Selling eBooks on eBay offers a tremendous entrepreneurial opportunity. Often, eBooks can be purchased inexpensively with resell rights intact and then re-sold the eBay buying public at a price that generates a significant profit.

There are, however, those who are selling eBooks on eBay for incredibly low prices. Sometimes it does not appear as if the price requested would even cover a listing fee! Considering eBooks are generally digitally delivered, there is no room for profit via shipping, either. Why are eBook sellers doing this?

There are a few potential answers to why so many eBooks are available on eBay at very low prices. First, many sellers are generating profit simply through volume. Though it may look like the cost of the auction approximates that amount of money generated by the sale, some sellers are actually operating in a way that provides them with a slight profit margin on these sales. These people are often working with digital delivery systems and other automated tools and have discovered that a “robotic” eBook selling presence on eBay is a nice way to earn some extra revenue with very little personal attention required.

The second reason for low-priced eBooks on eBay has nothing to do with making a profit on the book sales. Instead, marketers are attempting to build a list of people interested in the topic matter of the eBook. This is particularly true in many cases where the subject matter of the eBook is related to online moneymaking strategies. Successful internet marketers will tell you that “the money is in the list.” They use the emails gathered from the sales of the cheap eBook as a list of potential prospects to whom they can send future, more lucrative offers. This may involve sending a “miniaturized” eBook for a few pennies from an eBay sale and then following up with an offer for a more comprehensive look at the subject (which is more lucrative for the seller). Others may simply “pitch” future offerings at those who have bought the cheap eBooks via eBay.

Another potential rationale for cheap eBook sales stems from the actual contents of the eBooks. One can author an eBook that includes affiliate links for products. An eBook seller may sell a title for a few pennies that includes a series of links to sites where supporting products may be purchased. If anyone makes a purchase from one of these links, the eBook provider generates a commission on the sale. This strategy has been used with some success by many eBook sellers.

Many of those who enter the eBay marketplace to sell eBooks view the sale of eBooks at a healthy margin as the recipe for success. However, as these three examples demonstrate, there are other ways of taking eBook sales and transforming them into moneymakers even when the per-sale profit margin is slim (or in some cases, nonexistent). By using eBooks as a way to a financial end, a smart eBook seller can find a way to make cheap sales a profitable venture.

Ebay Ebook Success Tips: Get Free Ebooks to Resell on eBay!!!

With the spiraling eBay fees and competitive pricing, the last thing eBay ebook sellers want to worry about is buying new resellable content. However, there are many sources that you may not have thought about which provide you with free resellable ebooks that you can successfully add to your inventory. This article details just a few of them.

1) Ebay:- That's right eBay is a great source to pick up free ebooks (OK they're not quite free but very cheap). Many ebook sellers run auctions that start at 1p to attract customers. If nobody bids on these auctions you can pick up a very cheap resellable ebook.

Furthermore, some sellers run 1p ebook listings in their eBay store. That means that you can actually purchase the item as a Buy It Now for 1p and in some cases receive it instantly. Again another way to pick up a very cheap resellable ebook, courtesy of eBay. Do a search on eBay for "ebooks, resell" or something similar, and then list them lowest priced first to see what you find.

2) Newsletters:- When you signed up for this newsletter I gave you two free ebooks. Some newsletters that I am currently a member of give me 5 free ebooks every week. I would recommend joining ebook related newsletters as not only do you receive valuable tips from that ebook seller, you also get free products to add to your eBay store. Have a browse through eBay for the top ebook sellers. If they have a newsletter join it. It costs nothing and you are likely to benefit greatly.

3) Ebooks:- Usually when you buy a new ebook it contains links to many bonus ebooks with resell rights. Although you may have to pay for the first ebook, this is another way to get a plentiful collection of free resellable ebooks.

4) Online Forums:- Many users at online forums will give away free resellable ebooks or give away links that allow you to access free ebooks with resell rights. Just have a browse through the posts and see what you can find.

5) Ebook Websites:- Many websites that sell ebooks have a free download page. From this you can download free ebooks which quite often come with resell rights. Type "resell ebooks" into Google or any other major search engines, and have a browse through these websites. I am sure you will find more than enough ebooks to keep you going for a while.

Although free ebooks with resell rights are likely to be outdated in relation to the ones you pay for they are still a good way to bulk up your inventory at relatively little cost. The larger your store inventory is as an ebook seller, the more chance that you will get a sale. If you bulk up your inventory with free resellable ebooks which you then sell alongside the more expensive, up to date, resellable ebooks you are sure to enjoy increased success. Good Luck with your Ebook Sales!!!

or...

3. Figure out a way to turn the failure into a profitable asset.

There's really no excuse for doing

#1...When an ebook fails, you should at least consider trying to improve your targeting and/or your copy so that it will sell. However, some products simple won't sell no matter what you do.
So if

#2 fails... Find a way to turn the failure into an asset.

You Too Can Write A How-To Book (or eBook)

Are you aware that how-to books are among the easiest books to write? Yes, that’s right, they really are!

After all, how hard can it be to write about something you already know really well, something that you are passionate about? Heck, you may not even need to do any research! What other kind of author has that luxury?

As I say on my ebook on the subject, I am a firm believer that 99% of people who have specific knowledge of ANY subject, coupled with a passion to share that knowledge with others, are natural how-to authors.

In fact, as I state in the Introduction to my book…

“If you can organize your thoughts enough to explain something to someone, and then write that down in simple step-by-step terms, you too can be a how-to author.”
That’s right. How-to books can be written by anyone who is capable of writing down what they are “speaking” as they explain to someone all about something that is near and dear to their heart.

It really is that simple. And the beauty of writing how-to books is that you already have the knowledge inside of you!

Most how-to books are written by “experts” in a particular subject. The cool part about this is that each and every one of us is an expert in some, or many areas! And that includes you!
YES, YOU ARE An Expert…

Really, you are! You possess a unique combination of knowledge and valuable life experience that no one else on this planet possesses. In fact, you are the only one truly qualified to write about your knowledge and experience from your own unique perspective.

And that last phrase — “from your own unique perspective” — is a very important one. It’s important because “how-to” books are all about people sharing their individual unique take on something. And it really doesn’t matter what that something is.

Think about it. What are your big interests and/or activities in life? What’s your favorite hobby, or your preferred sport or leisure activity. What do you excel in at the office? What books and magazines do you seek out? What subjects are guaranteed to grab your attention in any situation, or when depicted in the media? What are you good at - at work and/or at play? On what subjects do friends, family members, and co-workers constantly seek your advice and/or expertise? Do you have valuable life experience to bring to the table?

Now that you’ve thought about it, I bet you’re beginning to realize that you are indeed an “expert” on numerous subjects — aren’t you?

Seriously, whether you’re an avid gardener, a fanatical sports fan, an obsessed collector of “stuff”, a jazz pianist, a weekend carpenter, or a card maker; it doesn’t matter what your subject. YOU ARE AN EXPERT at those things that you love and are good at doing.
VLE Does Count!

Whatever you do, make sure you don’t discount your own personal “valuable life experience”. In fact, VLE is the basis for almost All self-help books. After all, what are self-help books except “how-to” books about how to live life. And in these days of Oprah, Dr. Phil, Chicken Soup Books, and Reality TV, I don’t have to tell you how marketable VLE is!

In fact, it was Oprah who said you can “Turn your wounds into words”.
DON'T Underestimate Yourself…

Remember, YOU DO NOT have to be the world’s foremost authority on your particular subject(s). As long as you have a keen interest in your topic and have acquired an above average knowledge of it, you are in a position to write about it from your own unique perspective.
Believe me, there are thousands of people out there ready and waiting to hear from people just like you who offer new knowledge and fresh perspectives on your shared special area of interest.
All you need to be able to do is write down what would naturally come out of your mouth if you were explaining your favorite subject to a friend, colleague, or family member.

BOTTOM LINE?
Don’t sell yourself short. Five years ago I didn’t even know what a “how-to book” was. Now I’ve written 12 of them. Really!

I’m willing to bet that you too have more “how-to” books in you than you ever imagined.
