Ebook Power

An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business, while educating people with the knowledge you already posses as a business owner of a specific product or service. An ebook is the easiest way to reach any large niche audience of any type. Ebooks will not only promote your business, but will establish you as an expert in your field.

The largest reason people read books is to answer some type of question, or questions about a specific topic, or niche. You as the author are now in a position to establish yourself as an expert about your topic or niche. Your readers diligently read to answer their questions, success means delivering solid content about your topic or niche to your readers. Don’t guess about how much information to write into your book just over deliver the content to your readers. You will develop a reputation for writing books with solid content that is a value at any price. But, where to start as a writer? As a novice writer with an overflowing base of knowledge, short books are a great way to get your feet wet!

Write a short book first.
If you have a topic or information you want to sell, than just write a small ebook to start out with. Write 10 to 20 pages of your book and than ad some graphics. If your book is packed with good content, people will not mind paying 20 bucks for a 20 page book; quality. Once you have your feet wet with a short book, than plan your next book. You can than plan and organize your next book, after all, you have gained a wealth of experience from writing your small book.

Create Volumes Of Information
One effective tactic is to write a series of books, and label them as volumes, and promote as Volume One, Volume Two, etc. . Create a buzz about your next volume in the current volume you are writing. Offer incentives to the readers for example; a discount, or special bonuses for purchasing the next volume of your book.

Organizing Your Ebook
Organizing your ebook is not as difficult as you may think. If you can write a grocery list, than organizing an ebook will be simple.

  1. Start out with writing on paper or computer 1- 10. Write the topic you want to cover next to each digit on your paper. You now have outlined your chapters
  2. Write capital A, B, C, under each topic (Chapter). These will be your chapter sub headings.
  3. Below the capital letters (subheading) write lower case letters a b c. By writing a, b, c, you

now can write one or two keywords or phrases to be anchors to remember what information you will put in you subheadings. You are now ready to write your book.

When you use this format on paper or computer, and you read the text laid out in an organized manor, your mind will automatically want to fill in the gaps. The human brain just will not tolerate gaps in anything. Your thoughts will compel you to finish the job. By using this technique you will accomplish an amazing amount of work. After all your hard work how will you tell the world about your ebook?

ADVERTISING METHODS
1. Articles
You can write articles to brand your work in the minds of readers. Write your articles relevant to the topic of your book, but don’t give away the farm. The articles are also making quality content for your website. Remember search engines love quality content.

2. Blogs/RSS
Blogging is another way to create content for your website, and by using RSS, you can easily distribute your content. Most don't understand what RSS really is, or how it can most effectively be used to drive traffic to their sites. Basically, RSS is a form of code that's very search engine friendly. With RSS feeds, which you can add to your website or blog, you can create content that updates itself. Because of this self-updating, the search engines will spider your site more often, raising your rankings. But, the primary reason is you are reaching a larger, and more specific audience. Blogs and RSS readers are choosing the content they wish to read. Always remember your target audience is attempting to answer their questions.

3. Search Engine Optimization
Optimizing your site for the search engines means creating keyword rich content, exchanging links with other sites, submitting your site to directories, which create back links pointing to your site.

4. Distribute a Free Chapter to Your Readers
One of the best ways to advertise is give away a free chapter of your ebook away. Place links in the book where your readers can purchase your ebook. Giving away chapter one is the best because you are telling the reader what they are going to learn; but not in any detail. The readers grow hungry for more information and want to buy.

Make It Viral
If you make your ebook brandable, which means others can place their links, and affiiate id inside your ebook, your ebook becomes viral. You give others an incentive to share your ebook and spread it across the internet. Once you implement these content strategies on your site, add streams of revenue to your site like Adsense and Virtual Portals. These sites will allow you to monetize your site.

Conclusion
Don’t be afraid of writing ebooks it is a great way to build your expertise and credibility with the internet community. You also will bring a lot of customers to your website. Implement these strategies and you will be successful. Remember, your reputation depends on the quality of the product you produce.

Writing An Ebook – Learning Step By Step

They say the best way to making money on the Internet, is to create your own Ebook. Wow! That’s a simple statement, but – do you know what is involved. I’ll try to explain what I have learned and I am learning while I’m creating my own Ebook.

Brainstorming
If you know what you want to create, you’ve already on your way. But, if you’re not sure what information you have stored in your years of living – well, it can be difficult.

I’ve found the best way to brainstorm is to write your ideas, experiences and knowledge down on a piece of paper – then do research to determine what people are looking for on the net.

Research
To determine if your product, idea, or info-knowledge will fly you must do research. Go to Wordtracker or Overture and see how many times people in the month were looking for what you want to write about.

This will give you an idea if it is a viable product. Also do a straight search in Google and Yahoo for your keywords, and see what turns up. Investigate some of the sites, you may be surprised that you have a completely slant on the information you want to present in an E-book – which is a good thing.

Writing
If you think your ebook may fly, then it is time to write. Create it in html or a txt format, using Word or Notepad. Then download Gymnast – it’s free (you can find it on my site http://www.myaffiliateplace.biz/Affiliate_PromoteTools.htm). This will create your ebook. But – before you pull it into a PDF, be sure to proofread your material.

Next, you can create an Ebook cover. Yes, I know, you’re on a tight budget, so . . .look to http://www.onlinewebcreations.com -- they have some free ebook covers that you can choose from, and an on-line tool in which you can add the title of the book onto the Ebook cover.

If you don’t find these free ebook covers to your liking then you can purchase software to create your own ebook cover or pay someone else to do it for you. Once you have your ebook completed, it is time to get it out to the masses.

I would suggest submitting your ebook to Clickbank or Payloadz. However, if this is your first ebook, I would strongly suggest that you give Payloadz a closer look. From my own research – it is reasonable, you upload your ebook to their server (which eliminates your need to make your ebook available to the customer), and the payment goes through your Paypal account.
As to promotion, I will leave that to you to research.

Selling Ebooks for Dummies

Ebooks. It seems like they have been with us for some time now. At the beginning of digital technology it was predicted that digital books - Ebooks would replace conventional printed books. Obviously this is not going to happen at least not too soon. People still love traditional hard cover books. Who would like to sit in the bath with a computer in his hands to read one or two chapters of his favourite Ebook?

But in today’s fast online world, convenience of instant delivery and huge supply and variety on the market together with cheaper price - the Ebook is a fantastic product and has its place on the market. Ebooks are easy to store, file, and copy. You can write and publish your own Ebook for next to nothing and sell it for almost 100% profit over and over again. On the other hand – only shipping takes about 7-14% on average of sales of traditional hard cover books. So if you're looking to work at home part-time or full-time and thinking about your options, Ebooks should definitely be on your list to consider.

- So where should I start?- Where do I get the Ebooks?- How would I find customers?- How do I deliver the Ebook to my customers after they pay ?

Those are only few of many questions you could ask yourself when thinking about getting into this business. Let’s have a closer look at them.

Obviously a good start would be the internet access. Getting a good reliable service provider with minimum downtime is quite easy these days. The internet is much cheaper than it used to be. Do a small research on the market of internet providers in your area.

There is a good variety of Ebooks for sale with resell rights on the market. Buy such Ebook and you can resell it again and again. Convenient, you say if someone else has done the writing for you. Yes, but remember that thousands of other sellers can be selling the same Ebook as we speak. The point is to choose good portfolio of Ebooks to sell. Such Ebooks can be found on http://www.downloaddetails.com/. Actually for a small fee you can get the whole bunch of quality Ebooks.

If you find something, try to do a Google search on the same Ebook and see how many other sellers there are. You don’t want to be the seller number 2.564 867. But you don’t want to sell the only Ebook in the world that nobody wants either.

You can become an affiliate of other established sellers and sell their Ebooks too. They pay you anything between 5-25% commission on every sale you make.

Or you can go the harder way and write the Ebooks yourself. Find niche topics about specific category that you’re interested in like gardening or science, music, hobbies, something you’re good at. Ask your family or friends what they think about your idea.

Once you have your product or products – Ebooks, it’s time to make the decision on how and where to sell them. A great way to sell Ebooks is in auction like eBay. If you are not already a seller you can sign up for a free account as a seller. It takes less than 5 minutes. You don’t have to market the Ebooks on eBay, it’s done for you for a small fee.

Other way is to set up your own web page and sell the Ebooks from there. But if your website is new, you need to get some traffic to it. That means to market the site, to appear in the search engines like Google or Yahoo or MSN so that whenever your potential customers search for the words like Ebooks, your website is listed. Or to have a link or ad on another established website that will draw traffic to your site. Word of mouth is also a great marketing tool. Paid advertisement is a good way to start too. Try combination of those techniques and be patient. Success takes time. But it will come…

Customers who bought your Ebook should have the option to pay you online. Paypal is a great and one of the most secure online payment systems in the world. Quote from their website, about Paypal: “Paypal enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. PayPal's service builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards and utilizes the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe, global, real-time payment solution.”

Whether you’ve sold your Ebook on eBay or from your website, you get a notification on email about the order once it’s been paid for. You can then email your customer a download link to download the Ebook (if it’s on a server) or send it as attachment in the email. Congratulations on your first sale!

Why Selling EBooks Cheap May not be a Bad Idea

Selling eBooks on eBay offers a tremendous entrepreneurial opportunity. Often, eBooks can be purchased inexpensively with resell rights intact and then re-sold the eBay buying public at a price that generates a significant profit.

There are, however, those who are selling eBooks on eBay for incredibly low prices. Sometimes it does not appear as if the price requested would even cover a listing fee! Considering eBooks are generally digitally delivered, there is no room for profit via shipping, either. Why are eBook sellers doing this?

There are a few potential answers to why so many eBooks are available on eBay at very low prices. First, many sellers are generating profit simply through volume. Though it may look like the cost of the auction approximates that amount of money generated by the sale, some sellers are actually operating in a way that provides them with a slight profit margin on these sales. These people are often working with digital delivery systems and other automated tools and have discovered that a “robotic” eBook selling presence on eBay is a nice way to earn some extra revenue with very little personal attention required.

The second reason for low-priced eBooks on eBay has nothing to do with making a profit on the book sales. Instead, marketers are attempting to build a list of people interested in the topic matter of the eBook. This is particularly true in many cases where the subject matter of the eBook is related to online moneymaking strategies. Successful internet marketers will tell you that “the money is in the list.” They use the emails gathered from the sales of the cheap eBook as a list of potential prospects to whom they can send future, more lucrative offers. This may involve sending a “miniaturized” eBook for a few pennies from an eBay sale and then following up with an offer for a more comprehensive look at the subject (which is more lucrative for the seller). Others may simply “pitch” future offerings at those who have bought the cheap eBooks via eBay.

Another potential rationale for cheap eBook sales stems from the actual contents of the eBooks. One can author an eBook that includes affiliate links for products. An eBook seller may sell a title for a few pennies that includes a series of links to sites where supporting products may be purchased. If anyone makes a purchase from one of these links, the eBook provider generates a commission on the sale. This strategy has been used with some success by many eBook sellers.

Many of those who enter the eBay marketplace to sell eBooks view the sale of eBooks at a healthy margin as the recipe for success. However, as these three examples demonstrate, there are other ways of taking eBook sales and transforming them into moneymakers even when the per-sale profit margin is slim (or in some cases, nonexistent). By using eBooks as a way to a financial end, a smart eBook seller can find a way to make cheap sales a profitable venture.

Ebay Ebook Success Tips: Get Free Ebooks to Resell on eBay!!!

With the spiraling eBay fees and competitive pricing, the last thing eBay ebook sellers want to worry about is buying new resellable content. However, there are many sources that you may not have thought about which provide you with free resellable ebooks that you can successfully add to your inventory. This article details just a few of them.

1) Ebay:- That's right eBay is a great source to pick up free ebooks (OK they're not quite free but very cheap). Many ebook sellers run auctions that start at 1p to attract customers. If nobody bids on these auctions you can pick up a very cheap resellable ebook.

Furthermore, some sellers run 1p ebook listings in their eBay store. That means that you can actually purchase the item as a Buy It Now for 1p and in some cases receive it instantly. Again another way to pick up a very cheap resellable ebook, courtesy of eBay. Do a search on eBay for "ebooks, resell" or something similar, and then list them lowest priced first to see what you find.

2) Newsletters:- When you signed up for this newsletter I gave you two free ebooks. Some newsletters that I am currently a member of give me 5 free ebooks every week. I would recommend joining ebook related newsletters as not only do you receive valuable tips from that ebook seller, you also get free products to add to your eBay store. Have a browse through eBay for the top ebook sellers. If they have a newsletter join it. It costs nothing and you are likely to benefit greatly.

3) Ebooks:- Usually when you buy a new ebook it contains links to many bonus ebooks with resell rights. Although you may have to pay for the first ebook, this is another way to get a plentiful collection of free resellable ebooks.

4) Online Forums:- Many users at online forums will give away free resellable ebooks or give away links that allow you to access free ebooks with resell rights. Just have a browse through the posts and see what you can find.

5) Ebook Websites:- Many websites that sell ebooks have a free download page. From this you can download free ebooks which quite often come with resell rights. Type "resell ebooks" into Google or any other major search engines, and have a browse through these websites. I am sure you will find more than enough ebooks to keep you going for a while.

Although free ebooks with resell rights are likely to be outdated in relation to the ones you pay for they are still a good way to bulk up your inventory at relatively little cost. The larger your store inventory is as an ebook seller, the more chance that you will get a sale. If you bulk up your inventory with free resellable ebooks which you then sell alongside the more expensive, up to date, resellable ebooks you are sure to enjoy increased success. Good Luck with your Ebook Sales!!!

There's really no excuse for doing

#1...When an ebook fails, you should at least consider trying to improve your targeting and/or your copy so that it will sell. However, some products simple won't sell no matter what you do.

You Too Can Write A How-To Book (or eBook)

Are you aware that how-to books are among the easiest books to write? Yes, that’s right, they really are!

After all, how hard can it be to write about something you already know really well, something that you are passionate about? Heck, you may not even need to do any research! What other kind of author has that luxury?

As I say on my ebook on the subject, I am a firm believer that 99% of people who have specific knowledge of ANY subject, coupled with a passion to share that knowledge with others, are natural how-to authors.

In fact, as I state in the Introduction to my book…

“If you can organize your thoughts enough to explain something to someone, and then write that down in simple step-by-step terms, you too can be a how-to author.”
That’s right. How-to books can be written by anyone who is capable of writing down what they are “speaking” as they explain to someone all about something that is near and dear to their heart.

It really is that simple. And the beauty of writing how-to books is that you already have the knowledge inside of you!

Most how-to books are written by “experts” in a particular subject. The cool part about this is that each and every one of us is an expert in some, or many areas! And that includes you!
YES, YOU ARE An Expert…

Really, you are! You possess a unique combination of knowledge and valuable life experience that no one else on this planet possesses. In fact, you are the only one truly qualified to write about your knowledge and experience from your own unique perspective.

And that last phrase — “from your own unique perspective” — is a very important one. It’s important because “how-to” books are all about people sharing their individual unique take on something. And it really doesn’t matter what that something is.

Think about it. What are your big interests and/or activities in life? What’s your favorite hobby, or your preferred sport or leisure activity. What do you excel in at the office? What books and magazines do you seek out? What subjects are guaranteed to grab your attention in any situation, or when depicted in the media? What are you good at - at work and/or at play? On what subjects do friends, family members, and co-workers constantly seek your advice and/or expertise? Do you have valuable life experience to bring to the table?

Now that you’ve thought about it, I bet you’re beginning to realize that you are indeed an “expert” on numerous subjects — aren’t you?

Seriously, whether you’re an avid gardener, a fanatical sports fan, an obsessed collector of “stuff”, a jazz pianist, a weekend carpenter, or a card maker; it doesn’t matter what your subject. YOU ARE AN EXPERT at those things that you love and are good at doing.
VLE Does Count!

Whatever you do, make sure you don’t discount your own personal “valuable life experience”. In fact, VLE is the basis for almost All self-help books. After all, what are self-help books except “how-to” books about how to live life. And in these days of Oprah, Dr. Phil, Chicken Soup Books, and Reality TV, I don’t have to tell you how marketable VLE is!

In fact, it was Oprah who said you can “Turn your wounds into words”.
DON'T Underestimate Yourself…

Remember, YOU DO NOT have to be the world’s foremost authority on your particular subject(s). As long as you have a keen interest in your topic and have acquired an above average knowledge of it, you are in a position to write about it from your own unique perspective.
Believe me, there are thousands of people out there ready and waiting to hear from people just like you who offer new knowledge and fresh perspectives on your shared special area of interest.
All you need to be able to do is write down what would naturally come out of your mouth if you were explaining your favorite subject to a friend, colleague, or family member.

BOTTOM LINE?
Don’t sell yourself short. Five years ago I didn’t even know what a “how-to book” was. Now I’ve written 12 of them. Really!

I’m willing to bet that you too have more “how-to” books in you than you ever imagined.

5 Reasons that Ebooks are Effective Communication Tools

Ebooks are effective means of communicating. They allow you to express your ideas in a unique way that will reach many people. I have recently become an ebook convert, and I want to share with you the reasons that ebooks are the latest successful communication trend.

1. As Technology Advances, Communication Advances.
We live in a digital age. The popularity of blogs shows the influence that the internet has had on our communications. Communication theorists have argued that communication has developed from one-to-one (with pre-printing letters and books), to one-to-many (with the advent of the printing press) to many-to-many (with the internet). You no longer have to be a Harvard professor or famous novelist to reach many people: you can write an ebook and share it with many people. This democratization of knowledge is a step forward in the evolution of communication.

2. Convenience.
Because of the technology behind ebooks, they are immensely convenient. They can be accessed from anywhere. They can be stored, shared, or deleted as you want. You can browse through an ebook while you are at your desk to see if you want to read the book. You can even use the find or search function to find pertinent parts of the book.

Ebooks often contain hyperlinks that direct you to the sources of their information. This is like having interactive footnotes in a book. The hyperlinks in ebooks also make it easier for you find information that is cross-referenced within each volume.

Another convenient aspect of ebooks is their size. Frequently, ebooks are shorter than published hard-copy books. This means that the information is distilled, and easier to access than if you had to search through a printed book.

3. Empowering the Author.
If you were to try to publish a book, or even an article, through traditional publishing modes, you would have to deal with rejections, editors, and restrictions that each press has. With an ebook, you are free to make your choices about how you want to publish your material, and what material gets published. This kind of artistic integrity has all but vanished from the print-publishing industry.

Ebooks allow authors to self-publish without investing too much capital. If you choose to self-publish a printed book, you will have many costs to consider in your overhead. Publishing an e-book can be a relatively inexpensive experience.

4. The Environment.
Gutenberg’s printing press revolutionized written communication. Gutenberg’s invention, however, was not environmentally friendly. Ebooks, as electronic forms of communications, help to conserve our planet’s natural resources. You can write as much as you want and not worry about the forests that are being cut down to share your ideas when you choose to write an e-book.

5. Your Readership.
This article lists many reasons that ebooks are convenient and effective for you, the author. The affordable cost, the artistic integrity, and the powerful new technologies are exciting things for you as an author. However, your readers will also thank you when you choose an ebook. The convenience of access is easier than with a hard-copy book, and as discussed earlier, the information within the book is easier to access.

So, the next time you are considering writing, consider writing an ebook. The next time you want something to read, consider reading an ebook. There is an entire market of books out there waiting to be written, and waiting to be read. Are you ready to join the frontiers of communication?

Advantages Of Ebooks

Gone are the days when you had to wait in line at the library or run to your nearest bookstore to read up on some information. Gone are the days where people had to wait to get their hands on a popular book or buy it at expensive rates. Today at the click of a mouse, a world of written content is available for you, right at your fingertips. All you need to do is enter the site, register and make easy online payment, which is double quick. Once that is done, you have access to download the book to any file on your system. Yes, it really is that easy! You can have your book within minutes, all from the comfort of your home at any time.

Apart from being ecologically friendly, ebooks are easy to carry around. To carry more than ten physical books would be a difficult task, but with ebooks you can carry hundreds on a CD. Physical books normally undergo wear and tear over time. They collect dust and can be destroyed easily. Ebooks are safely stored on an electronic devise so you can refer to it when you want to. Imagine if you want to find a particular section in a book with hundred pages. It would atleast take you fifteen minutes to turn all the pages and locate your information. An ebook allows you to ‘search’ for your data and gives you immediate results. Not only will it point out the section that you want but it can also give you more data by way of external links! Thus your resource can lead you to more updated information.

For those of you who love the feel of a physical book in your hands, there is a solution. An ebook can be printed in the font and format you desire. For those who prefer to have a book read to them, the option of converting it into audio is available. If you live far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a perfect solution for you. Downloading a book does not require you to travel a long distance to acquire your material. This works well for students and researchers who don’t have time to spare.

If you have children in the house, it is almost certain that physical books get misplaced. An ebook cannot be accessed so easily at it lies within a system. With an ebook you can easily mark out portions and highlight sentences and you have the opportunity to remove highlights later. With a physical book, people prefer not to mark out sections, because it is irreversible and does not look good. Writing an ebook is also simple as collected data can be easily segregated into sections.

How to Harness the Power of Ebooks for the Benefit of Your Website!

Ebooks can be a powerful tool when it comes to promoting and profiting from your website. To be able to benefit from ebooks, it is important to know how to use them to their full potential.
There are two big ways in which ebooks can be used to benefit you and your site:

Promotion

Profiting

Both of these are extremely important. Without promoting your site and receiving enough visitors, it is impossible to profit, which is the ultimate aim of a successful internet business.

Promotion:
Ebooks are especially good for advertising your website. They cost almost nothing to produce and can be easily distributed via an email. You can either use an ebook which you have created yourself, or you can use another author's ebook, provided you have permission. Here is how to promote your site to unknown levels using an ebook:

- Use an ebook with a broad appeal, so as to achieve a maximum range of interest from many people. However, try to keep the ebook relevant to your site's subject matter. This way, those who travel to your site through the ebook will find more that interests them on your site. This is how to turn browsers of your ebook into buyers on your site.

- Once you have chosen your ebook's subject try to write the content similarly to your site. Add a link to the site you want to promote at the beginning and end of every page in the ebook. Make sure that these links are visible, and that it is made clear to the viewer where these links go to. Within the content of the ebook, while talking about something which can be found directly at your site, a link can also be added. However, make sure not to clutter your ebook with links and ads. This looks unprofessional and gives viewers a bad impression.

- Having finished the ebook's content, check furiously for spelling mistakes or missing punctuation. These mistakes lead the viewer to believe that the author is unprofessional and even that the site may be insecure and badly run.

- Now comes a crucial part. Make sure on the very front of the ebook, or somewhere where everyone will be able to see, that you have put a statement such as this:

"You may redistribute this ebook freely so long as the content inside remains the same"
This will mean that anyone who receives your ebook will be able to pass it on, so long as they don't change it. Given the fact that ebooks are a very popular form of displaying information nowadays, people are very likely to give your ebook away, whether it be a freebie on their site or a gift to newcomers. More and more people will have a copy of your ebook, with your link which goes straight back to your site. People are bound to click on your link if they're interested.

- Now with your completed ebook, you can start distributing. Give it to all your friends and family and anyone else who you know. Tell them to distribute it everyone in their email address book. Do not be afraid to contact a site which sells or gives away ebooks and ask them if they will distribute it. The chances are that they will. Big ebook sites need new ebooks to keep going.

Contact sites which have a similar subject matter as the subject of your ebook and ask them if they will distribute it. Don't forget to distribute your ebook freely on your own site, because this will gain your site popularity. If you need help distributing your ebook, my site http://www.info-ebooks.co.uk would be happy to distribute it for you.

Once you have distributed a number of copies, if you have distributed it well to many sets of people, your ebook will soon be all over the internet. People will start clicking on your links from all over the web and in addition, you have also made a small name for yourself on the web. This will increase the popularity and trust in your site.

Profiting:
Obviously through the promoting of your website using ebooks, the profits will increase. However, there are other ways in which to profit using ebooks:

- The most obvious way to make money through ebooks is by selling them. However, there are already many huge companies doing this and it is hard for little companies and websites to keep up. Nevertheless, try to offer just that little bit extra on your ebook deal compared to everyone else's. You have to try and make your deal seem special. Add a couple of bonuses and maybe a useful bit of software too.

- Profit through ebooks by offering them as a bonus with another, more expensive product you are selling on your website. You would be surprised at how a browser will choose your product over others, just because your product has an ebook free with it. If you can make this ebook relevant to the item you are coupling it with, or you could make the ebook yourself, then more people will buy from you and people will be prepared to pay more. The ebook costs you nothing either so it is a perfect give-away.

- Affiliate links can also be posted in ebooks you create yourself. Earn yourself money by placing these links in relevant places in the content of the ebook. For example if your ebook talks about music, then include a link to a popular music website which you know will give you a slice of the profits if a sale is made. If your ebook is distributed correctly, your affiliate link could be viewed by thousands of people per week. The site I recommend for affiliate marketing is http://www.clickbank.com

- Also think about putting a very limited amount of ads in your ebook. Many companies will pay you to put an ad in your ebook. However, there is a very fine line between making money through ads and losing money due to too many unprofessional ads. Try to make your ads blend into your ebook and make them relevant to the subject matter too.
Most importantly with ebooks, always be thinking of new ways in which you think you could distribute them or use them to profit. Creativity is a key part of a successful ebook marketing campaign.

eBay Auction Home Business Tutorial: Creating Ebooks With Ebook Pro

In past eBay tutorials, we talked about how people on eBay are willing to pay to learn what you already know - and the best way to convey (and sell!) that information to them is through an electronically delivered book, or "ebook". When a customer purchases your ebook, you just email it to them, and you're done!

We talked about using Microsoft Word and Adobe Professional to create ebooks, and the pros and cons of each. I've been writing ebooks for almost three years, and while these two products are good, they have their limitations. The best program I've come across yet to write your own ebooks is a product called Ebook Pro.

For those who are concerned that an ebook program will be too complicated for them to learn, fear not! Ebook Pro is about as simple a program as there is. All you have to do is click on a button or two, name your ebook, and start writing!

Ebook Pro also allows easy insertion of images, charts, and just about anything else you want to put into your ebook. And whether you're writing about soup or nuts, you'll want to put some simple illustrations into your ebook to make it more interesting to your readers.

The best feature of Ebook Pro, even better than its simplicity, is the username and password feature. You simply have to have some kind of password protection on your ebooks, or they're going to be heavily pirated - that is, someone will take your ebook and post it on a site where others can post it for free. That takes money out of your pocket!

While some ebook programs will allow only a single password to be assigned to your ebook, Ebook Pro will create different username and passwords for every single purchaser of your ebook! It just doesn't get any better than that. And once your ebook really takes off, Ebook Pro will even help you automate the distribution of your ebooks. It's a great product to get started with and grows with you as your business grows.

Ebook Pro is also quite affordable, as it's less than half the price of Adobe Professional. Having used MS Word, Adobe Pro, and Ebook Pro to create and sell ebooks on eBay, I can say that I've been using Ebook Pro since the first day I bought it and have never gone back to the other programs. I know you'll be just as happy as I am with my copy.

Regardless of which program you choose to create your ebooks with, the important part is to get started! In future eBay tutorials, I'll share some tips and tricks I've learned along the way that will help put more money in your pocket. Until then, get to writing, and give yourself a raise by selling your ebooks on eBay!

Build a Kids Ebook

I will not lie. This was my first ebook. It’s a 51 page kids coloring ebook. This is a children’s coloring ebook for the beginners to learn basic shapes, colors, and numbers.

My design was to build a book that children could learn these things without a bunch of other stuff in the book. So I built a kids coloring e-book with simple activities that repeatedly have children using colors, counting numbers, and making shapes.

Building the kids coloring ebook took me quite a bit of time since I’ve never done one before. I will share some things so you do not have to go through learning process. This will save you time since you do not have to figure it out.

  • Whatever program you use to create your text and graphics you will need to convert over to a PDF file. Why a PDF file? I had that same question when I started. The main reason is the fact that a PDF file is recognized by so many operating systems. You want people no matter what system their using to be able to get your ebook.
  • You should use a text editor that’s capable of installing graphics along with your text. Do not create your text in a photo program. The files will be too big. This page is 21k up to this point. In a photo program saved as a JPEG the file is 324K. Imagine how big 51 pages would be. Keep it small and simple. Easy to download.
  • Building the kids coloring ebook cover. If you’re good with graphics you can create your own ebook cover in a graphics program. If you’re not good with graphics you can still create one but it takes time. I cannot put all the graphics to show you how to do the kids coloring ebook cover here in this article. Please visit my web site http://fun-working-from-home.com. Go to the build an ebook page and click on the create an e-book cover in the second paragraph. Then you will get picture-by-picture, step-by-step instructions on building your book cover.
  • Here’s the basic idea of what you need to do. Use a program that allows you to add lines on a page. Make a rectangle that looks like the front of a book. Now picture the book being tilted slightly towards you at the top. Add some lines that will give you the illusion it’s a book. Now add your title and whatever you want on the front of the book. Use a color that could be seen easy. That’s the best I can explain making the kids coloring ebook cover here.
  • Now for the important part. What to put in it? It does not have to be a kids coloring ebook. You could make a children’s reading ebook or whatever your heart desires. Write about what you know.

On my web site I have links to a free PDF converter, text editor /office suite, and a PDF reader. No strings attached. Free for you to download. If you’re in need of any of these you can go to my web site in the author’s Bio. On my build an ebook page, eighth paragraph, use the link that says write about their true passion. You will be brought to a page that has the links for all of these free items. I hope this helps and you have great success on your ebook.

How To Turn Your eBook Into A Massive Information Marketing Business

Do you have an e-book? Is it doing well? Most people feel satisfied if they have an e-book that is selling well. What they don’t realize however, is if they adopt three simple strategies, they can double or triple their profits.

You see it’s not enough to just sell an e-book. You should be looking at the bigger picture. The bigger picture involves converting your e-book into an information marketing empire.

How do you do that?

Secret #1 – Add Audio
If you have a successful e-book, you can boost your profits and increase your revenues by creating audios to accompany your ebooks.

Let’s say your e-book is selling well. Now what? You should consider adding audios to your e-book. Doing so will allow you to raise the price and value of the e-book you offer your customers.
What do I mean? Let’s say for example you sell your e-book online for $37. Maybe you have a successful guide on candle making. If you want to boost your sales and the value your customers perceive from your e-book, read the book, record it… or make a couple of MP3 files your customers can download.

Incorporate this into your sales pitch. Use this as an upsell.
As soon as you add a couple of hours of audio, you can raise the price from $37 to $47 to $67. Some people won’t buy from you because they are turned off by e-books. Why? They don’t want to read. You solve this problem by providing an audio of your course.

Remember, people learn differently. So, some people will prefer an audio or MP3 because they don’t learn well by reading.

Secret #2 – Get Physical
What is the next way you can boost your profits? You can go physical. Today when people think about information marketing, they think about e-books.

The truth is e-books are simply one medium, one information product idea you can market.

There are other physical products however, that can generate even more profits for you.

What types of products? DVDs, CDs, membership site, business in a box, systems, templates, software, tools… there are so many things you can market besides an e-book.

So convert your winning idea into a multimedia product. Make if physical.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is they think people won’t want audios and material. That’s not true. People do want physical products, other information. They want audios. Then you can double, triple or even quadruple your price.

To me, when I sell an e-book (Like my forbidden Psychological Tactics) I always have an upsell. You’ll find you automatically make more money and you’ll reduce the risk of refunds.

People don’t want a refund when you give them this much information. Sometimes it’s not because they don’t want your product, they just want to rip you off. However, when you turn your e-book into a physical product, you’ll see your refund rate drops dramatically.

Your refund rate will drop from 12-14% to 2%. Why? You are adding to customer satisfaction. You are also helping other markets and people like the elderly (who may not want to read an e-book).

This type of product and service generates more rave reviews. And it’s easy. All you have to do is turn your product into a physical product.

Secret # 3 – Create a Back-End Product
The third strategy you need to adopt to generate more profits is providing a back-end product. You see, when you are selling an e-book, you have a customer.

You should have a back-end in place, a series of auto-responders that will upsell, backend sell other products.

Most people assume they can only make money from their products. If you think like this, you will lose money. Why?

Sometimes your customers aren’t interested in your specific product, but they are interested in you. And they will take your advice. So if you offer them a back-end product, something someone else created, you may still make the sale.

You should have other people’s products readily available so you can make a commission on them. Just because someone doesn’t buy your product doesn’t mean they won’t want to buy others products.

It doesn’t matter if they buy your products as long as you are making money. If you have a back-end in place, you can act as an affiliate and you can sell them something someone else is offering. Use auto responders and make money. Pitch other people’s products. Make it profitable for your customers to invest, even if they don’t initially invest in your product specifically.

How do you profit from the people that don’t order from you? That’s how you do it.

Apply these three ideas and watch how they make you more money. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the incredible results you start realizing.

Finding The Hottest Selling eBooks on eBay

While many sellers spend all their time selling their current eBook inventory on eBay, others try to locate the hottest selling eBooks first through copious research. The most important research an eBook seller can do on eBay is to find out what eBook topics are hot sellers, and then get them for you to resell. This doesn’t mean you have to buy resellers rights copy of hot eBooks, it just means you should track sales to see what would be good for your customers.

eBay is a great place to do market research on eBook sales. The more you know about what sells online, the better you are able to locate potential hot selling topics. The most effective way to find the best selling eBooks on eBay is by doing a completed listings search.

The completed listings search is a great tool to find out what people are in the market for when it comes eBooks. Since many eBook offers on eBay are listed as a buy it now option, it can be a great challenge to figure out what eBooks are big sellers online, and what ones aren’t from active listings. By doing a completed listings search, all sales are outlined in an easy to read green font, and all the unsold items are in red.

Simply click on the search button at the side task bar of your eBook results page on eBay. Make sure to check the box that indicates you want to search completed listings only. Once you have located this option, click search, and being looking through the listings.

To find the hottest selling eBooks simply grab a pen, and a pad, and make some notes about what genres of eBooks seem to be selling the most. Make a few notes about what to sell, and what not to sell. After going through abut 10 to 15 pages of completed listings on eBay, you should have an idea of what topics are the most popular.

Now go back through the listings and try to discover what the best price is to sell your eBooks on eBay. If the prices aren’t consistent for the eBooks sold on eBay, try to find a middle ground price that would be good for your product.

Another point I would like to make is if your eBook turns out to be a dud and does not sell well don’t give up on it. Simply sell the eBook as a store inventory item. This only costs pennies per month and adds to your inventory.

How to Start Writing an Ebook and Finish It Fast!

Unless you can afford to hire a ghostwriter, you probably need to write the ebook yourself if you have decided to start making serious money as an information publisher. The hardest part of writing an ebook is actually sit down and start to write. When I have decided finally to write an ebook, I find it extremely difficult to write my very first chapter. I have done the research and reading up on my topic, but the thought of writing it down scares the hell out of me. I keep procrastinating and wasting time instead of writing that first chapter. Does this happen to you? I bet it happens to most new writers. What we should avoid is thinking of the end product of producing a book. The thought of completing the whole ebook seems like an impossible task. That's why you have to break it down into smaller manageable tasks. Here's a simple 7-step procedure to start writing your ebook and finish it!

However, before going into the first step, I need to emphasized that your attitude is important to your success. You have to be confident that you can finish the task at hand. Do not fear that you don't know enough to write an ebook, you do! You know more that you think, seriously.

Ok, now let's start.

Step 1: Niche It
Choose a topic which appeals to you and which you can see yourself spending time researching and writing it in the next couple of days. The trick here is choose a niche. Do not write a book which appeals to everyone. Focus on a specific area and you are on your way to success. Why? Because when you target a niche market, you already have a pre-qualified market ready to buy your products.

Step 2 : Research It
After choosing a specific area of interest as the topic of your ebook, the next step is to spend a reasonable amount of time to research on that topic. How much time, you ask? It really depends on how much you already know about the topic. What is important here is you want to be an expert in your chosen niche. At this stage, it is easy to get lost among the huge bank of information on the internet. So it is very important to get organized. I find this method extremely helpful, that is getting a 3-ring binder with a set of divider tabs. File your research files and notes in the relevant tabs as you go along. When you start writing your book, you won't have to research everywhere for your notes. This is a great time saver.

Step 3: Table It
Now that you have a good idea of what you are going to write, the next important step is to write a detailed outline of your ebook. This is the single most important step in the whole ebook writing process. To get your ebook well written and finish it on time, you need to spend some time to think of your ebook outline. The outline serves as the backbone of your ebook. It represents your ideas and flow of thoughts. Write the outline as detail as possible.

Step 4: Write It
Ok, finally, we get down to writing the ebook itself. Before you start writing, you have to have a good picture of your readers, the people who are going to read your ebook. Picture your perfect audience for your ebook and write to him/her! Write to your reader, not for your reader. Write as if you are talking to the person. Use the language as you would talking to your friend. Forget about having the proper grammar and linguistic structures for your paragraphs. Just get your thoughts and ideas down! If you are stuck in a particular chapter, move on to the next. Don't force yourself to write that chapter and slow down the whole writing process. It is easier to come back and try writing that chapter again. You may have new thoughts and ideas which can help you to proceed. An important point to remember here is DO NOT EDIT! Turn off your self-editing machine and just focus on writing.

Step 5: Edit It
Now this is the time to for content edit. Does you ebook look too thin? If so, go out and get more relevant information. If you can't find any, you may want to insert an article on the topic area you have difficulty finding information. This is one way successful writers add more 'meat' to their ebook. The other thing to edit is excessive and repetitive words. Remember, simplicity is the key. Forget about jargons and technicalities. Use common and simple language. You won't want your reader go looking up dictionary while reading your book.

Step 6: Polish It
Now you have done editing your ebook, it is time to polish it. Polishing here means adding extra features to make your ebook presentable. For example, adding additional pages, adding your copyright page, changing your title, adding borders, adding header and footer, adding the table of contents. Take a look at any good ebooks already in the market and learn from them.

Step 7: Publish It
Now finally, you have your completed ebook in front of you. How do you feel? Do you feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment and pride? I know I did. Words just can't express how I felt. It is worth all the hard work put into it. Now at this stage, you have to make sure you have a great title for your ebook. Great titles sells, not your content. Period. Get yourself a professional sales copy and ebook cover, and you are on your way to first ebook riches!

To conclude, anyone, including yourself, can write an ebook. It does not need to be difficult. All you need is to follow the 7-step plan above. For more great information on the easy 7-step procedure on writing your ebook fast, please visit The Newbies' Hub at http://www.newbieshub.com/.

Is Writer's Block Stopping You from Writing Your First Ebook?

Let's face it, most of us are not born writers. Many of us spend much time just to come up with one sentence, not to mention writing a whole book. What's worse, there are times when nothing comes to your mind even you have spend hours researching on a topic. If this happens to you, you are probably having the most common problem that plagues writers one time too many, Writer's Block! Writer's block is absolutely, undeniably, scientifically proven to be impossible to overcome.

Well, I am here to tell you that WRITER'S BLOCK CAN BE OVERCOME.

There are several ways to trick this nasty demon. Pick one, pick several, and give them a try. Soon, before you even have a chance for your heartbeat to accelerate, guess what? You're writing.

Here are some tried and true methods of overcoming writer's block:

1.Be prepared. The only thing to fear is fear itself.(I know, that sounds like a cliché but as soon as you start writing, you will realize writing is not something to be afraid of.) If you spend some time thinking and researching on your project before you actually sit down to write, you may be able to over the crippling writer's block.

2.Forget perfectionism. No one ever writes a masterpiece in the first draft. Don't put any expectations on your writing at all! In fact, tell yourself you are not going to care about how your draft turns out. Your focus is to get your ideas down.

3.Compose instead of editing. Never, never write your first draft with your self-editing machine turned on making snide editorial comments over your shoulder. Sit down at your computer or your desk. Take a deep breath and blow out all your thoughts. Let your finger hover over your keyboard or pick up your pen. And then put on a pretense: appear to be about to begin to write, and at the same time, flick that little annoying self-editing voice. Then start writing quickly. Let everything loose, as long as you do it with a pen or your computer keyboard.

4.Forget the first sentence. You can sweat over that all-important one-liner when you've finished your piece. Skip it! Go for the middle or even the end. Start wherever you can. Chances are, when you read it over, the first line will be blinking its little neon lights right at you from the depths of your composition.

5.Concentration and focus. I find this the most difficult to do. There are so many distractions offline and online which can take your attention away. How about thinking about your writing time as a little vacation from all those annoying daily worries? Create a space, perhaps even a physical one, where nothing exists except the single present moment. If one of those irritating worries gets by you, stomp on it like you would an ugly bug!

6.Stop procrastinating. Write an outline. Keep your research notes within sight. Use someone else's writing to get going. One technique is use a starting paragraph from a book on a similar topic and continue writing the following paragraphs. Then, come back and replace the starting paragraph with your own. Babble incoherently on paper or on the computer if you have to.

Just do it! (I know, I stole that line from somewhere?). Tack up anything that could possibly help you to get going: notes, outlines, pictures of your grandmother. Put the cookie you will be allowed to eat when you finish your first draft within sight but out of reach. Then pick up the same type of writing that you need to write, and read it. Then read it again. Soon, trust me, the fear will slowly fade away. As soon as it does, grab your keyboard and get writing!

EBook Publishing & Marketing

Congratulations, you have written your ebook also known as a digital or electronic book and the time has come to get the word out on the worldwide web. The key benefit about using an e-book for self publishing is that you do not have to spend the money on printing and shipping expenses. This also allows you to test various markets and advertising options without costing you a lot of money and heartache.

There are many ebook software programs on the market. I prefer to do mine in PDF format as they can be read on both PC and MAC computers. Remember to make your pages easy to read with some color, a few images and white space. The writing and actual formatting of an ebook is a whole other article that I am writing currently and hope to share with you soon.

After spending tons of money, several years and many-many hours online with my websites and ebook projects, I have gone through the ups and downs of the learning process of trying to sell ebooks both for myself and for others. One important choice you can make when just starting out is are you going to sell the ebook or are you going to offer it for free to get your name out there with all your links and contact information. This is called "viral marketing" with the purpose of having as many people as possible sharing and downloading your ebook. You can even offer your free ebook to websites as a joint venture for them to offer your ebook as their free bonus with their sales. The key things that you will need to sell your ebook online are:

A website or webpage of your own or offer your ebook to an ebook website that may take a small fee and / or include your ebook in an affiliate program-

A good sales page about the ebook -

A quality ebook Cover Image - Graphics are key!

A "Thank You" Download page from where your ebook is downloaded-

Other Marketing Considerations may include:

Offering a Free Bonus EBook - very important in this e-business to over deliver for the price!
Set a budget to test some PPC (pay-per-click-) Advertising such as Google Ads to drive traffic to your sales page-

Exchange related links with quality websites with a good search engine ranking-

Process a Press Release such as with PRWEB -

Submit articles to article/ezine websites about your ebook-

Join ebook Forums and post messages with your ebook link-

Take advantage of your email "Signature" to include your ebook Title and sales page link in addition to telling frinds and family-

Start a BLOG about your ebook topic and include the link to your ebook sales page-

The important factor is not to go wild with over-spending on marketing. Test-test-test and research online for many more ways to promote your ebook. The best advice I can give if this is your first ebook, is to start another ebook right away that either expands on the chosen subject or another topic that you have a passion for. Remember, you can either try to do all of this publishing and promoting yourself, you can share the tasks, or you can have a professional guide you and produce a satisfactory product for you while you spend your time and energy writing your next ebook!

Kind Regards and best of luck!

Why I'm Not Buying Your eBook

It doesn’t matter whether you are emailing a prospect, composing an ad, or writing a sales letter to promote your newly published eBook – correct grammar and spelling are important. Good or bad, it leaves a lasting impression on the reader and says a whole lot about your credibility.

Like the company who claims they can put my program at the top of every Search Engine for $97, yet when I check their site I notice that it is ranked #3. I sigh and roll my eyes: if they can put my website at the top why isn’t theirs ranked up there?

Credibility: it’s something we earn. It’s not a given.

If your sales letter is supposed to convince me to buy your eBook you ought to have the basic skills of a writer. Offer it to a friend to read for errors in grammar or spelling. If none are available, pay for a professional editor. Anything is better than presenting your offer on a sales page that looks like a fifth grader wrote it. It won’t attract a buyer and it sure won’t attract a possible sales-affiliate, like me, to promote it.

Programs that offer ‘spell check’ like Notepad or Word Perfect leave no excuse for the novice writer today. Set up your sales letter and eBook for that matter, in one of these programs so that grammatical errors and misspelled words will be underlined for your correction.

This is not 100% flawless however, as these services will not pick up homonyms – words that sound alike but are spelled differently. Hair and hare sound the same but if you use the wrong one in your sentence, spell-check will not pick it up because it is a real word, even if it’s the wrong one.

One can only imagine trying to read your eBook when the sales letter promises, “… we will offer you a peak at secrets never before revealed”. And further advises me that I should “not waist any time in ordering as the price will be going up after midnight.”

Homonyms give us the most grief as writers but if you find yourself falling into this grammatical pit, make yourself a list and hang it over your desk. Before long you will have sidestepped any chance of misusing these words. Actually you will smile when you come across others who are still clueless.

Next I’d like to address your misuse of words like “loose and lose”. Loose means not tight! Lose means to lack the possession of, to come to be without. So please don’t tell me I will “… loose inches in a matter of weeks”.

Also a word on the dreaded apostrophe – avoiding it entirely is not a solution. Like when you say, “… your going to love the results.” Actually you do not mean your but “you are going to love the results”. Why not use the apostrophe and join the two words: “you’re going to love the results”. Use it’s for it is, and that’s for that is. Try they’re for they are, and can’t for cannot.

Now imagine thousands of people buying and reading your eBook. They love it and write to you about how it has helped them with their weight problems. They even email all their friends and recommend your eBook. Sound far fetched? Not at all – it can and will happen to you.

As a fellow writer I hope this has not discouraged you and that you will keep publishing eBooks. In all fairness, let me add that you are far from an isolated case. More writings than I care to mention need the same advice. If you are reading this article your next effort will be better and attract more buyers

Create Passive Income with Ebooks and Special Reports

Information products are a hot commodity in the online marketplace, transforming traditional entrepreneurs into infopreneurs. Ebooks and special reports are two of the most basic forms of info products. They are relatively easy to create and distribute and best of all, these products can generate passive income—money you make while you sleep.

An ebook is an electronic book that can be downloaded to a reader’s computer or hand-held device. Special reports are similar, but typically shorter in length. Some savvy internet marketers sell special reports ranging in size from two to twenty pages. Ebooks tend to be more comprehensive, with page counts from twenty to three hundred.

If you’ve been thinking about cashing in on this trend, then follow these simple steps to get started.

Establish Your Expertise
Everyone is an expert at something. Whether you are great at writing financial reports, organizing a home or training hamsters, you have something to offer the public. Sure there may be other people out there with similar qualifications, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t room in the market for another expert. If you have a unique approach, you can compete with the best of them.

Building your expert status takes some effort. If you have special degrees in your field, a popular website, have published articles, been quoted by the media or given presentations on your topic, you are on the right track. If you don’t yet have these qualifications on your resume, start working on adding as many of these credibility-builders as possible.

Find Your Audience
You could write the most fascinating ebook on the planet, but your parents and friends will not be enough of an audience to make it worth your while. To be successful at selling ebooks and special reports, you must be able to reach a broad group of buyers. The best place to start is with a content-rich website.

For example, if you want to become an expert on dog training, your website should appeal to dog enthusiasts. To attract an audience, offer resources and articles that appeal to the dog-loving community. You can write your own articles or ask others to contribute content to your site. You can also locate articles available for reprint from sites like ezinearticles.com and ideamarketers.com. The key is to offer as much valuable information as possible. When your site visitors find value, they will be more interested in investing in the products you have for sale.

Communicating With Customers
One of the most effective ways to reach potential buyers is with an ezine. By sending a monthly or even weekly electronic newsletter, you accomplish several things at once: you get your name in front of your website visitors, you establish your credibility as someone who provides valuable information, and you can get your products in front of readers repeatedly. Studies show that the average consumer must be exposed to a product six to eight times before making a decision to buy. Your ezine can become a powerful tool for your information product business.
To capture subscribers to your ezine, provide a subscription link on every page of your website. You may want to offer a bonus, such as a complimentary special report or ebook, to entice visitors to sign up.

Create Your Products
Once your website is drawing traffic and your ezine is going out on a regular basis, you’re ready to create your first information product. First you must decide what topic to cover in your ebook or special report. Consider what information your site visitors want to know. Do you receive the same questions over and over? Answering those could be the basis of your first product. You could also survey your customer base to find out what interests them.

Once you know what your subject matter will be, then get to work on writing your first ebook or special report. It would be wise to have your content edited by either a friend or a professional so you can ensure you are delivering the best output possible. Don’t forget to include your website and contact information along with a copyright statement similar to the following:

Copyright © 2006 by Annie Author
Once your work is complete, you will want to convert it to a user-friendly format. Adobe PDF Creator software allows you to convert your document to PDF format which can be viewed on personal computers, Macintosh computers, and numerous handheld devices. You can also choose security settings to protect the contents of the document. If you don’t already own this software, you can visit www.adobe.com to convert up to five documents at no charge.

Automate the Sales Process
Once your finished product is ready to go, you will need to automate the sales process. You could add a link to your website and attempt to process payments and deliver your info products manually, but this will only leave you and your customers frustrated. One of the benefits of info products is the instant gratification. When a customer makes a purchase, he wants to access the product immediately instead of waiting for you to check your email and deliver the goods.
There are a variety of online merchant systems available and one such solution is offered by www.payloadz.com. This service manages the sales and delivery of electronic products. You can upload your file to Payloadz and create shopping cart buttons that can be placed on your website. When a customer makes a purchase, Payloadz will handle collecting the payment (which is processed via Paypal), and will send the buyer a link to download the product from their server. All you have to do is sit back and wait for the cash to hit your bank!

Market, Market, Market
Once your product is created and the sales and delivery process automated, your focus should be on marketing. Few businesses can be successful without marketing, and information products are no exception. Here are some ways to market online without breaking the bank:

*Publish articles in related industry publications and websites.

*Publish articles through content sites such as ezinearticles.com.

*Write a book. Being an author is an instant boost to your credibility and a book can open the doors to a variety of opportunities such as media appearances and speaking engagements.

*Form strategic alliances with website owners in your industry. Trade links to each other’s sites, swap ads in your ezines, or partner on a project or event.

*Be everywhere. Participate in teleconferences, internet radio interviews, blogs, and industry-related forums and chat rooms.

As your business grows, continue to evaluate what your customers want to know and develop products to meet those needs. Remember that it’s much easier to fill a need than to create one. And if you can do just two or three things each day to market your business, it shouldn’t be long before your website traffic and product sales exceed your wildest dreams.

Write Your Ebook in 5 Easy Steps

Ebooks are one of the best ways to make money on the Internet right now. These days it seems everyone has their own ebook but it's true, everyone has at least one ebook inside of them.
Whatever you do in life and wherever you go, you build and absorb knowledge as you go about your daily life. Though, some people think what they know isn't important or people wouldn't be interested in buying an book about what they know. You'd be surprised.

There are people who are searching for your knowledge right now, in some cases what people know isn‘t readily available online and a large group of people are just waiting to grab up your knowledge bundled inside an ebook.

Many ebook authors write about a wide range of subjects such as photography, architecture, travel, collecting and any other subject you can think of and they make money doing it too.
If you're thinking of writing an ebook don’t keep your knowledge to yourself, make your knowledge sell. But before selling that knowledge to thousands of potential customers you need to consider some important points:

1. Everyone is an Expert
There are a variety of topics you can write about. Anyone can write about virtually anything, even though you can write about anything write about what you know. Everyone has an ebook inside of them because everyone knows about a certain topic. Stick to your area of expertise.

2. Research Your Audience
You can write the best ebook on your topic but if no one is searching for that topic online you won't sell one ebook. Before picking a topic asks yourself:

-Will people buy this information on the internet or opt to buy it at a physical bookstore instead?

-Is there a ready and waiting market?

-If so, how can these people find your ebook?

To make sure people fid your ebook, do keyword research with various tools such as Overture and Wordtracker. The key is to optimize your ebook for a keyword which people are searching for in the search engines.

3. Target Your Niche With Precision
Target a tightly focused niche in your topic area. Don’t try to target everyone on the Internet. For example if you want to target people who are interested in gardening don't just write an ebook about gardening in general; there's thousand's of ebook's on how to garden out there. Make your ebook one of a kind by writing an ebook about preventing animals from eating your flowers. Providing a solution to a problem will get you more sales than presenting a general overview of your topic. Many people online are looking for solutions to a problem. Provide them the solution in the form of your ebook.

Targeting your niche market is twice as easy when you are a member of your target market. Writing about what you know also makes the marketing process easier because you know exactly where to go to promote your ebook and where your audience is.

To gain an edge over any competition consider taking promotional methods offline. Put up flyers in locations you know your target market will be at or around. You can even team up with local small business owners and ask them if they will give away flyers for a commission of the profits. If you plan on teaming up with physical business make sure you register a different URL so you can track their buyers or else it will become an accounting nightmare when it comes time to send them their commissions.

4. Write For Your Readers, Not for Yourself
One of the other keys to a successful ebook is one which is reader friendly. Readers of your ebook could care less about you, they are looking for information and solutions about your topic- and they want these solutions fast. It’s fine to include a few sentences about yourself and/or your website in the very beginning or ending of your ebook, but going on and on about yourself will waste your readers time and most likely annoy them.

Also, Don’t list each and every little thing you know about your subject in your ebook. All too often ebook authors try to cram everything they know into their ebook. Readers don’t want to waste time reading over unnecessary details. Write about the most important parts of your subject and get to the point of each part.

5. Spell Check
Most readers will not be happy if they bought an ebook filled with spelling mistakes. Your website visitors aren't likely to be English professors but if your copy is filled with spelling mistakes your visitors will flee and you won't get many sales. Multiple spelling mistakes in copy or an ebook will also ruin your long-term credibility. Who would want to buy products from someone who can’t even spell? Make sure another person reviews your work for any spelling mistakes; spell check doesn't catch all your mistakes.

With these five tips you should be on you’re way to producing a successful and profitable ebook.

EBooks Are Promotional Powerhouses

Ebooks are part of the new frontier of cyberspace.

They are an entirely new medium for sharing marketing information, ideas, techniques, and expert knowledge.

Each day the number of people accessing the Internet grows, causing the exposure of your ebook to increase incrementally. It's obvious why electronic self-publishing has become so popular so quickly.

The publishing industry, I hope, does not intend to forever banish the printed word to the dustbin of history. Books in print have their own special qualities and merits, and the world would be diminished by their disappearance.

Having said that, let's look at what makes ebooks so important and so unique. Ebooks have certain abilities and qualities that other mediums do not possess.

For example, ebooks are fairly easy to produce, and their production cost is inexpensive. Just think about it: you don't need a publisher, an agent, a printing press, offset film, ink, paper, or even a distributor.

You just need a great concept, the ability to write it or to hire a writer, and the right software.
Additionally, ebooks are easily and rapidly distributed online. They are also easily updated; they do not require a second print run. All you need is to go into your original creation and modify the text or graphics. Because of this flexibility, ebooks can change and grow as fast as you can type.
Ebooks are also immediately obtainable. You don't have to go to a bookstore or search through endless titles at an online bookstore. All you have to do is download it from a website, and presto! It's on your computer, ready to be read.

Ebooks are interactive. This is one of the most unique and specific qualities that ebooks offer. You can add surveys that need to be filled out, order forms for customers to purchase your products or goods, sound and video that draw your reader into the virtual world of your ebook, even direct links to relevant sites that will expand your ebook outward. The potential is virtually limitless.

Ebooks have a particular kind of permanence that other mediums do not possess. Television shows and radio shows air once, and then may rerun a few times. Ebooks remain on your computer for as long as your choose, and they can be read and reread whenever you choose to. They can even be printed out and stored on the shelves of your traditional home library.
Another wonderful quality is that ebooks have no barriers in terms of publishing. You don't need to go through the endless process of submitting your manuscript over and over again, and then once you land an agent, having the agent submit your manuscript over and over again. Nor do you have to shell out thousands of dollars for printing a self-published book. All ebooks require is a writer and appropriate software.

Figure out your market, write your book, post it on your website, and with the right business savvy, your audience will come to you.

Finally, you have creative control over your ebook.

You don?t have to compromise with an editor or the publishing trends of the time. You don't have to haggle with a designer or wait for copyedited galleys to arrive by snail mail. You are in complete control of the design and the text.

How to Use ebooks for Marketing and Promotion
There are innumerable ways to use ebooks to promote your business and drive quality traffic to your website. Once posted on your site, you can turn them into a daily course, which brings your customer back to read the next chapter. You can use them as a free gift for making a purchase or for filling out a survey. Put your ebook on a disc, and you will have an innovative brochure. Blow your competition away by inserting the disc into your sales packages.

The most effective marketing products are those that are unique. Copyright your ebook, and immediately, you have a powerful tool that you, and you alone, can offer to the public. People will have to visit your site to acquire your ebook, which increases the flow of quality traffic and the potential of sales and affiliate contacts.

Make sure that you keep your ebook current. Update it frequently as the market and trends change. Add new advice and techniques to show your prospects how your goods or services can enrich their lives. By constantly keeping abreast of new trends and techniques, you can continue to see profits from your ebook for years after your original creation.

Another phenomenal advantage of ebooks is that you can test their marketing potential without putting out hardly any cash at all. You can even produce an ebook one copy at a time, each time you receive an order, eliminating the need for storage and inventory. By this method, you can gauge the saleablity of your ebook, and make adjustments as necessary until the orders start pouring in. Ebooks allow you to learn about your market and customer habits and motivation over a period of time, without risking your precious financial resources. They also provide you with an invaluable way to gather marketing information, which you can use in many different facets of your business.

Use your ebook to discover what the specific goals and problems are in your specific industry. Then figure out how to solve these problems, and publish an ebook with this invaluable information. This will increase the value of your business, upgrade your reputation, and get you known as an expert in your field.

You can extend the value of single ebook by breaking the book down into chapters for a serial course, into special reports available on your website, or into audio or visual tapes. Ebooks can be broken down into several different promotional materials by excepting some of the articles and using them to promote your product. You can include a catalog in your ebook to promote all the products or services you sell. You can include a thank-you note for reading your book and an invitation to download a trial version of your product. Or you can include a form for your audience to contact you for further information or with questions, thereby building your business relationships and your mailing list.

Using ebooks in this manner helps to cut the cost of individually producing separate promotional materials.

You can use a single ebook to entice new prospects and to sell new products to your current customers.

No other medium has this kind of flexibility and ability for expansion. Think of your ebook like a spider spinning a beautiful and intricate web. Now go and create that web, and see how many customers and prospects you can catch!
